Essential Oil For Lips
hi, my name is kathrin brunner, and todayi'm going to show you how to make all natural lip balm. we'll start with 70 ml of meltedbeeswax. i've already gone ahead and melted this beeswax in a double boiler, if you usebeeswax beads or if you grate it, it will melt faster. to the melted beeswax, we'lladd 1 cup of olive oil and 25 ml of shea butter. then we'll put everything back into our doubleboiler so it can melt together and incorporate.
Essential Oil For Lips, so once the ingredients have melted down andincorporated together, we'll add 1 tsp of vitamin e, which will help to make the lipbalm feel really soft and silky on the lips. and now you have fun, so you can add someessential oils for flavour, today we're going to add peppermint essential oil and anywherefrom 15 - 30 drops, depending on how strong
the oil smells. you could also add mica whichis a ground up rock, which comes in a range of colours from really vibrant pinks to coralsto reds to bronzes, and add some really fun colours to your lip balms as well. we'll givethat a quick stir to incorporate, and then we're going to pour. this is where a steadyhand is really useful. so, you can use a funnel if you prefer, or you can straight up pour,if some spills don't worry about it, it'll harden and then you can just scrape it backup and remelt it down. once you've poured all your lip balm containers, any extra lipbalm that you have left over, you can pour it into a mason jar, set it aside in yourcupboards, and once your lip balm runs out, you can just melt it back down and refillit. really easy to make, super low cost, great
to buy the ingredients in bulk with your friendsand have a lip balm making party.
